Boeing Factory Tour

Peer behind Boeing's massive hangar doors and learn about the inner workings of the world's largest airplanes. Guests must meet Boeing's 50-inch minimum height requirement to take this tour.

Boeing is an integral part of the Seattle area's past and future, with manufacturing centers all over the greater Seattle area. Travel 30 miles out of the city to Boeing's Everett plant, home to a hangar with the largest cubic capacity of any building in the world; even a giant 747 is dwarfed! Begin your tour at the Future of Flight interactive center, where you can digitally design and test your own jet, ride aboard the multi-passenger XJ5 flight simulator, or touch the high-tech “skin” of the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Then, see the assembly steps required to build the massive 747 within the factory, and then the gleaming line of finished planes sitting on the 9,500-foot runway at Paine Field. A video presentation is also included. Boeing tour guides are not only available for answering questions, but will also lead the tour through the plant.

Note:
Guests must meet Boeing's 50-inch minimum height requirement to take this tour. For security reasons, purses, hand-carried items, cameras, and video equipment are not allowed on the tour, but can be left on the Gray Line of Seattle motor coach.

The tour will start from just outside the Seattle Sheraton.
